He’s undoubtedly one of the hottest young stars in Hollywood right now and he’s recently been voted sexiest man alive. But for hellomagazine.com readers, Robert Pattinson is not the ’sexiest on-screen vampire’.

Voting has now closed on our online poll to find out who you think best pulls off the blood sucker look – which had you clicking in your thousands. And the shock results are in: Robert has been beaten into second place by Angel star David Boreanaz – by a mere 22 votes.

Twilight actor Rob – who portrays enigmatic Edward Cullen in the film – might be the man of the moment, but our readers clearly haven’t forgotten David’s turn as Angel. He sent female hearts aflutter when he first appeared on screens in Buffy The Vampire Slayer in 1997.

He proved so popular as Sarah Michelle Geller’s vampire love interest, he was given his own series, which ran until 2004.

David swooped off with the top spot in our poll, gathering 34 per cent of the vote, while Rob took 33 per cent.

Readers have obviously been tuning into new series True Blood, judging by the results of our vote too. Two actors from the show made up our top five, with Swedish hunk Alexander Skarsgard’s portrayal of vampire sheriff Eric Northman coming in third with 11 per cent, and Stephen Moyer’s old-fashioned southern gentleman vampire Bill Compton taking fifth.

They were separated by fourth-placed Brad Pitt, who played the title role in 1994 flick Interview With The Vampire. His co-star in the flick Tom Cruise finished in sixth.

Bringing up the rear in our vote were James Marsters, who played vampire villian Spike in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Gary Oldman – the creepy count in Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Antonio Banderas, also in Interview With A Vampire.

And less popular was Wesley Snipes’ butt-kicking half vampire, half human, from the Blade films. He finished in tenth place.

Nuttymadam3575, a very devoted Twilight fan has just been fired from her job. Because of this, she is now in a physical and emotional crisis. As she explains in the above video, she now can no longer do many things we take for granted, such as travel, upload videos, or even live in her house. For most antis, Nuttymadam is psychotic entertainment. Recently though, we’ve been seeing a different, more open-minded side of her. She is a fan of Buffy, Supernatural, Friends, Scrubs, and even Harry Potter. In one video, she called Edward a poof, and in another she said that the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie was better than the Twilight movie. She’s become more than just a screaming robot. She’s a real human being, experiencing something most people can relate to but hope that they will never experience. Right now, she’s not Nuttymadam — right now she is Emma Clark and she needs help. That’s why fans and antis alike are joining together to save her.

Once again, we all have to clench our fists and refrain from swearing loudly at this latest devolopment in “The Twilight Saga,” as they’re calling it now.

For those of you who can’t get enough Edward and Bella, EW can announce — exclusively — that Yen Press will be publishing Twilight in graphic-novel form, publication date still to be determined. Though Korean artist Young Kim is creating the art, Meyer herself is deeply immersed in the project, reviewing every panel.

Take a close look at the biology-class sketch we’ve obtained (that’s an empty dialogue bubble between their heads, if you’re wondering). What’s interesting to me is that it doesn’t look simply like an artist’s rendering of Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson. In fact, the characters seem to be an amalgam of Meyer’s literary imagination and the actors’ actual looks. The description of Edward from biology class: “His dazzling face was friendly; open, a slight smile on his flawless lips. But his eyes were cautious.” And Bella: “I was ivory-skinned …. I had always been slender, but soft somehow, obviously not an athlete…” To me, this graphic-novel Bella seems much closer to me to Meyer’s book than to Stewart’s sultry portrayal. The Edward shown is closer to Pattinson, but not a real duplicate; there’s something very winning in the sketch that I don’t see in Pattinson’s all-too-perfect tousled bronze locks and piercing eyes.

This is a *facepalm* moment if there ever was one.

They’re changing the cover of a classic book just so that it can fit into the Twilight universe.

In case you can’t see the picture (found it at the twilight_sucks livejournal community), it shows a white flower wrapped in red string over a dark staircase background with a red sticker declaring it “Bella & Edward’s favourite book.”  (I’m guessing it’s a British version because of the spelling in the word “favourite”)  The signature white, red and black coloring of your typical Smeyer book is used here too, as well as the Twilight-popularized Zephyr font for the title and other lettering.

Somewhere the Brontë sisters are rolling in their graves.

How is edward cullen abusive …from twilight…explain hater?

So, everyone says edward cullen is abusive, and it makes me so sad, I almost cry, and several times I have cried. Because edward wouldn`t in A MILLION YEARS EVER LAY A HAND ON BELLA, and that is what abuse is so how is he abusive. I wouldn`t care if my boyfriend watched me well I sleep, it just means he always wants to be with her, and he is overprotective because bella is like a speck of dust in edwards world, so he cannot have anything happen to her, she is a beautiful, elegant breakable piece of fine china. please explain twilight haters, how can the most amazing man in the world be abusive. I`m crying as I write. litterlly I am clutching twilight between my legs and crying, my eyes are so swollen because of the vampire stinging tears…I have tried several times to try and turn my self into a vampire, I have looked on every website and done every ritual, and still am not reunited with edward, SO EXPLAIN OK CUZ MY BODY TINGKES EVER TIME I TALK ABOUT THIS AMAZING MAN , YOU IDIOTS
