To be honest, I feel like everyone should know everything on this list anyway, but here we go...

1. Be respectful of all users. Fans and antis can be friends-- let's prove it. Not all fans are rabid, and not all antis are just haters. Try not to generalize with these things. AKA: Give people the benefit of the doubt.

2. Please attempt to keep the swearing to a minimum. If they wouldn't say it on a cable TV show, don't say it here. Let's try for a PG-13 rating at highest, just for the sake of civility. In fact, with the PG-13 standard in mind, apply that to everything. No graphic violence, sexual content, language, etc.

3. Spam is annoying. Nobody likes it when someone posts in all-caps or netspeak or the same thing over and over again. Don't get me wrong, it's okay to say "lol" or abbreviate words once and a while or use only lowercase letters when you type -- but though this is this internet, if what you say is so grammatically incorrect that we can't even understand it, then that will be included as spam and therefore deleted. Similarly, if all you're here to do is advertise, we don't want you here. Sorry. Find somewhere else to spam.

4. I don't mind images. I like posting pictures and being able to choose avatars and signatures from offsite locations or from my computer. However, I had this site in the past where pervs came in and took advantage of this fact. The things they posted were very disturbing and I don't want to have to deal with that again. The avatar size is very lenient and you can post pretty much anything for the time being. If people start posting r-rated material though, this priveledge is going to have to go. So keep your images nice. =)
